Hawaii has so many natural wonders that it’s able to attract visitors from all around the world. There are lovely vistas in every direction, and it’s never puzzling to consider why so many people like to come here. It also has a big draw on artists, scientists, and intellectuals, inspired to work in a beautiful setting. The cultural scene here is also top-notch, and with people like Val Underwood working here, the future is very bright.
He spends his time between London, New York, California, and the Big Island, where every year the Hawaii Performing Arts Festival brings a resounding music to the place. It’s a very elaborate affair, and has been held here since 2005 under his artistic direction.
Visitors to five star Hawaii hotels are treated to a feast of music. Classical, chamber, and opera are all on the bill here, and for the days of the festival, performances bring live music to a new level. It’s sometimes hard for guests to imagine that things in Hawaii can get even sweeter, but when the sweetest music in the world is playing in one of the sweetest places, then it’s hard not to imagine that this is really it.
