Climbing up Victoria Peak on the tram, is one of the most picturesque and traditional ways of ascending the mountain. There is a city bus that offers just as beautiful scenic views however. The tram has been operating for more than one hundred years, and climbs the steep mountain side at some somewhat frightening steep angles.
However once one makes it to the top, not only is the view of the city incredible, but the temperature is drastically lower, as well as the level of humidity.
