Where the Quest Begins

Baltimore’s Artscape

Baltimore has a certain mystique that other cities only aspire to.  Nestled in the history and rich urban culture of the east coast, with fabulous views that only a harbor city can offer, there are fantastic things in store for guests here, whether the purpose of your stay is business or pleasure.  Connoisseurs of the past will love investigating the earlier lives that passed through this city, and pop culture fanatics will enjoy the innovations that artists here are making every day in the music scene and visual arts.  A stay in our Baltimore luxury hotels can bring all this home, demonstrating a splendid balance between the best of old-fashioned hospitality mixed with the latest amenities to make your stay here a memorable one.

Our hotels are designed to pamper the guests, so that you’ll have an experience of rejuvenation every moment.  Our rooms are decorated with attention to detail and design, so that falling asleep and waking up in gorgeousness are always on the menu.  And for those who love to sample the best in international cuisine, there’s plenty of offerings here to please your palate.  The city offers enormously fascinating attractions to keep all the visitors happy during the day, and the night life is truly unique.  For a sample of what Baltimore has to offer, check out, or try to visit, during Artscape.  This is a three-day festival held every summer, that celebrates the art scene in Baltimore.  The public performances are totally free.

There is an enormous array of visual art in Baltimore anyway, and at this event, all the galleries are open and showing exhibitions of exciting new work by local and international artists.  There are also live performances, with all sorts of street theatre, avant garde performance, bands playing everything from Gypsy music to reggae, djs,
and plenty of hiphop.  Local organizations and merchants organize special events just for the kids, and there’s even an art competition that brings in artists from all over.  Did we mention it was free?  Artscape is one of the great neighborhood events that remind us that such things are still possible, and are splendid, and free, to see.
