All Aboard Ibiza
We were waiting for our guest to arrive before lunch time. We wanted them to meet us at one of the hotels Ibiza has located near the marina because we were going to spend the entire day at a small island not too far off the Southeast coast of Ibiza call Formentera. We rented a sail boat just to do this excursion, luckily by husband is an experienced sailor and this is his way to show off his skills. For me, I was just plain old excited to have these guests aboard. They were my husbands sister and a group of her entourage.
When I was a teenager, she lived at my home for about a year. I met her friends then and I became quick and fast friends with all of them and I developed a crush on her brother. Now, that I’m older, her brother, my husband is still just as sexy as when I first met him. We planned this trip for over a year, it took that long to make sure everyone could sail with us to Formentera.
When they arrived, we all had a quick drink in our hotel room and went down and had a light lunch at the hotel’s restaurant, tapas, and then headed to the marina where our sailboat was waiting. My husband gave us all a quick review of the sailboat and safety measures. We were a group of seven, there were six girls and one of them brought her boyfriend. None of us had been on a large sailboat before and everyone was really eager to get sailing.
It was so good to spend time with all of them again. It felt like we’d never been apart for all those years, like we just picked up were we left off, except some of us were married now. It was a perfect day to sail, only soft puffy clouds in the sky, excellent company and a beautiful beach to look forward to both in Formentera and back at Ibiza.
