The Sea and the Marine Life of Gairloch, Scotland
Gairloch, Scotland is a seaside town that offer a myriad of options to choose from concerning activities to be experienced in and along the sea and the wildlife and marine life that lives along the coastline and in the waters. For those not fond of travel on the high seas, there is a large window set just on the harbor that allows those interested fascinating glimpses of seals, otters, and dolphins, as well as a number of various species of birds. Along the harbor underwater cameras have been set up that broadcast remotely, so one is even able to view the underwater life from dry land.
The admission to the center is free to the public, and the information and visual delights are wondrous as the country of Scotland is home to such a wide variety of species. For those wishing to get out on the ocean, the opportunities for catching glimpses up close and personal, to whales and dolphins greatly increases. The cruises leave Gairloch daily, and offer incredible views of the coastline as it sits along the shores of the Atlantic Ocean.
